The Trevi Fountain sits in the Trevi neighbourhood, at the heart of Rome’s historic centre. More precisely, it’s located at the intersection of three roads, hence its name – Trevi Fountain literally translates to Three Street Fountain, from the Latin word “trivium” which means three streets.
Just a 6-minute walk away, the closest metro station to Trevi Fountain is Barberini on Line A. area is also served by numerous buses, such as no. 85 (from Termini Station) and no. 160 (from Villa Borghese).

As one of Rome’s most central neighbourhoods, Trevi is packed with attractions and essential things to do in Rome. It’s located between the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps, so staying here puts you right in the heart of everything.
