Its construction was the result of a competition that Pope Clement XII launched in 1732 to redesign an existing fountain. It was unveiled 30 years later and instantly became a hit.

Just a 6-minute walk away, the closest metro station to Trevi Fountain is Barberini on Line A. area is also served by numerous buses, such as no. 85 (from Termini Station) and no. 160 (from Villa Borghese).

As one of Rome’s most central neighbourhoods, Trevi is packed with attractions and essential things to do in Rome. It’s located between the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps, so staying here puts you right in the heart of everything.
